ABOUT ALEX
Alex was born on March 21st, 1983 in Zagreb, Croatia. He works for the company Pozor Ltd. and really enjoys his work which combines all he wanted in his professional life: team work, creativity and implementation of modern technology. His colleagues, friends and family agree that he is a big hearted person, loyal and devoted, unselfish, friendly and always ready to help others.
At the beginning of 2011, he finally fulfilled his childhood wish and joined the Croatian Mountaineer's society "Željeznicar" and went with his friends on many mountain-climbing trips (Dinara, Julian Alps, Kamnik Alps, Karavanke , Triglav....). Another passion of his was cycling, so bicycle became his preferred vehicle in everyday life. His biggest cycling achivement was recently conquering the Dinara, the highest mountain peak in Croatia (article in magazine Biker, October 2011, issue #20).
Alex adores his girlfriend Andrea, he is a great brother to Vanja, Toni, Boris and Fran, a devoted son to his mom Zdenka and to his dad Zoran and lives for his family and friends. He is always positive no matter what challenges life has for him and he is looking forward to marrying Andrea. But, the recent accident changed everything (more details). The spinal cord injury took all he was hopeful to do in life and chained him to a bed, but not for long. His spirit, love and support from family and friends made him more determined to win this battle. He is now in the Rehabilitation Center Varazdinske Toplice in Croatia fighting and every day, little by little, conquering some „new peak“! Alex rocks!
